Hello, I have a 2009 Mac Pro 4.1. Mac OSX version 10.6.8. Processor - 2 x 2.26 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon. Memory - 24GB Graphics Card - ATI Radeon HD 4870 I use After Effects and Premiere Pro daily for my work. Best memory card reader: 02 Transcend USB 3.0 Card Reader RDF8 £15, $16 www.transcend-info.com If you'd rather splash your cash on your camera than a card reader, then try this one.

So today I started up virtual windows, connected Internal Card Reader (through settings for USB in vmware) and after a couple of tries - managed to mount SD card in windows. Then I 'Removed Safely SD Card' in windows and just in case disconnected internal card reader from windows (settings in vmware again).

Appreciate some help... I am trying to transfer pictures form iPhoto to an SD memory card. I bought a Sandisk Mobilemate SD Plus reader and attached the SD card into the reader and then on to the USB port of my Mac. When I tried to drag the pictures to the folder (called No Name), it says that ' The picture cannot be moved because No Name (which is the SD card) cannot be modified', Is there something I should be doing? Do I need to format the SD card - and if I do, how do I do this in Mac. Sorry new to this ... appreciate any help.
